MIDWESTERN AUTO GROUP (MAG) to host Dublin Foundation’s Annual Emerald Celebration on New Date
December 20, 2013; Dublin, OH – The Dublin Foundation announced a new date and host for their upcoming Emerald Celebration 2014. This high-profile event, which has been held in the last week of February for 31 years, will move to April 26, 2014. The Midwestern Auto Group (MAG) will host the Emerald Celebration at their newly expanded Perimeter Loop MAG Dealership. Dublin Foundation board member Tim Long and MAG CFO Sean McCarthy initially discussed the possibility of relocating the annual event to MAG’s state-of-the-art facilities and “MAG ownership, the Foundation Board and the Celebration Committee all immediately and enthusiastically embraced the change”, said Stacey Kuzda, the Executive Director of the Dublin Foundation.
MAG has been developing new buildings at their Perimeter Loop location to include a new Audi show room, as well as a new Mini and BMW showroom. “Although the event will be held in the Mini and BMW facilities, we plan on showcasing a larger selection of the newest, finest automobiles,” said Sean McCarthy. There are even plans to reveal a newer, exciting Porsche model; details to follow.
The Dublin Foundation seeks to bring the people, businesses, and non-profit organizations of the greater Dublin area together to make a long-term, positive impact on the community. The Emerald Celebration not only raises funds to support the Dublin Foundation’s charitable activities; it also serves to bring the people of Dublin together in common cause. The Dublin Foundation Executive Committee expects this 32nd annual Emerald Celebration to have a fresh, forward-looking energy, while maintaining continuity with its past traditions of communal celebration in honor of the many volunteers who give of their time and resources throughout the year. The 2014 Emerald Celebration will feature a VIP Reception featuring wine tasting, appetizers, and a meet-and-greet with prominent community members, to be announced when ticket sales begin.
