Illness of a child can cause family stress and financial hardship, creating an unhealthy atmosphere for children to heal. The Ronald McDonald House provides a safe haven where families can come together in their time of need; offering support and a near-by, comfortable place to stay. The program provides families with all their basic needs, allowing them to focus on their number one priority, their sick child.
The Helping Hands Program within The Ronald McDonald House provides nights of rest for financially challenged families of seriously ill, hospitalized children. With this contribution by The Dublin Foundation, 150 nights of rest will be provided to local families with an ill child who may be unable to contribute the nightly rate.
