The Dublin Foundation will support the community and its non-profit organizations by raising, investing, and dispersing funds for the betterment of the Dublin community.
The Dublin Foundation is committed to enriching the lives of Dublin residents by growing and governing the endowment needs of the changing generations. Established in 1982, the organization supports endeavors which strengthen and enrich the community of Dublin.
The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization which receives and invests (with the assistance of The Columbus Foundation) charitable gifts from individuals, families, businesses and other groups. Applications are received bi-monthly and reviewed by a Board of Governors. These monies are then distributed to approved applicants for grants and projects which help meet the continually evolving needs of our local area and particularly the Dublin community.
Since the inception of The Dublin Foundation, more than $350,000.00 in grants have been approved and issued for the following categories:

- Arts and Cultural Endeavors
- Civic Affairs and Community Services
- Education
- Environment
- Health, Human Services and Safety
- Historic Preservation
- Recreation
Funding comes from individual contributors, a yearly gala event, as well as corporate donations and estate bequests. As a component fund of The Columbus Foundation, The Dublin Foundation’s assets are managed by The Columbus Foundation. All monies granted by The Dublin Foundation are used for the benefit of Dublin residents and surrounding communities.
